Create A Meditation Space

Meditation is a wonderful practice for your mind, body, and soul. One of the best ways to connect with your higher self. And even though we can meditate anywhere, I thought it would be nice to talk about a special spot we can make in our home.

Create A Meditation Space

A meditation space is unique to you. So how you create it is all about what speaks to you. One of the main things is to keep it a positive and calm space.

My meditation space is located in my bedroom. I live in a two bedroom apartment and this is the area that works best for me. You can have a meditation room if you’d like. The key is to pick a spot that sounds right to you.

For my meditation space, I decided to use a beautiful heart shaped table someone made me when I was in high school. I love hearts. I am drawn to all things love and symbols of love. Therefore, this heart shaped table was a perfect start to my meditation space.

I then decided to add some crystals and meditation cards I received from a beautiful friend. This way I can hold the crystals as I meditate or I can just have them in the space, whatever feels right for me that day.

Books are one of my favorite past times. A way I expand my mind, soul and world. Therefore, I wanted to add some of the books that I have read that are a part of my spiritual and meditation journey.

This is my current meditation space. It is simple, personalized, and effective. I feel joy as soon as I see it. You can make yours to fit your personality as well.

Essential Oils

Essential oils have a range of frequencies and therefore, can be a great addition to a meditation session. Diffusing essential oils is usually my go to during meditation, though sometimes I like to put a drop on my wrist or on my ears. Depending on if I am working through something that day or just looking to receive or relax.

Other Uses

This space can also be used for breathing exercises, visualization, yoga, writing, drawing, as these are all different forms of meditation.

What do you like to have in your meditation space?

Much Love!

Stephanie
