4 Things You Can Do Today To Live Your Life’s Purpose

People spend a lot of time wondering what is their life purpose. When will they figure it out? Why is it so hard to figure out? What happens if they missed it? Are they on the right path?

So many questions and it can often feel like so little time.

Here Are 4 Ideas That You Can Use Right Now

What did you do as a child?

When you were a kid, what did you do for fun? What interests did you have? Think about your teenage self. What did you spend your down time doing? That you really enjoyed? You were doing this whenever you could naturally or even with effort. This was something you were drawn to.

Look for the Clues

In the book,You Are a Badass at Making Money: Master the Mindset of Wealth,  Jen Sincero states, “Clues are everywhere.” Pay attention to the clues instead of thinking “I don’t know what I am supposed to be doing.” I’ve been doing this myself, and truly clues are everywhere!

1 Year at a Time

Perhaps take it one year at a time. What is your purpose this year? Most people have many interests or ideas that pull on their heart. Maybe you will get to explore them all in your lifetime. Why not? Careers change all the time. Who says you only have 1 purpose for the entire time you are here on Earth?

If one year seems too short, take it 5 years at a time. What are you going to dive into for the next 5 years and let that purpose flourish.

Love Over Fear

And of course, lead with love. Fear provides a path for hurt. Love sets you free.

If love seems hard, start by learning to love yourself by treating you the way you would want to be treated. In what ways did it feel good to be treated as a child and every year since then. Then do that for yourself.

Your purpose is most likely staring you in the face. It may be hard to recognize because it may seem so simple. How could this be it? What do people go to you for? When are you enjoying life the most? Pay attention to the clues. Let them guide you one year at a time.
