A pivotal moment in my life perspective happened in my teens.
Today I share a story about a dark day in my life. It’s been a skeleton in my closet for decades. Before today, I’ve only shared this story with Keoni.
This story may change the way you see me, however, I hope it helps you love people more because we can’t always see what they are going through. And really, everyone wants to feel loved, to receive kindness, and to not be outcasted.
This dark day confirmed the path for me to fully embrace the little things and life in general, to let joy flow daily, and to love myself even when it feels like no one else does.
I share this piece of my story now because if it helps one person make a different choice, to change the way they experience people in this world, to understand love coming from themself can be enough, it’s worth it.
