Christmas is just around the corner and it’s time to come up with a gift for your spouse.

I wanted to share a few ideas that can be tweaked to fit any budget.

Pocket Ornament

What you’ll need:

• 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup of salt
• 1/4 cup of water

Mix up the ingredients into dough. Kneed it a bit and then roll it out and make two matching shapes of choice. Stack them and blend the edges together. Then you want to put something in between the two shapes to make a pocket. I used a bath bomb shell. Make sure to leave enough room to wiggle it out after it has been baked. Remember to make a little hole to put your string through.

Once it is ready to bake, place on parchment paper on a cookie sheet and place in the oven at 200 degrees for 3 hours. Then let it cool. Decorate as desired. And give to your love before Christmas. Fill with love notes or little gifts throughout the Christmas season.
