Allison Swanson is a wife, mother, social worker, and life coach. Her desire to support others on their healing journey came as a result of seeing and believing in her own resilience through trauma and addiction. Allison believes that relationships and support are an important vehicle for change and that each person is capable of resilience and has the ability to overcome and find victory in the changes they pursue in life.
I met Allison back when we both worked at a dual diagnosis treatment facility for addiction and mental health issues. She quickly became a friend and her story is pretty incredible.
Today, Allison shares with us how she survived the death of a child and her own recovery through an addiction to meth.
She also is co-facilitating a group that assists in moving through trauma, Conquer Trauma Like A Boss A Year of Transformation begins Jan 10, 2019.
