Beautiful Soul,
I saw you doubting yourself today.
Someone got into your head. You started to question your skills, ability… your overall competence. That question of worth and good enough came back to the surface. And your heart felt heavy and tears tempted your eyes.
How hard it is to remember that most situations, this one included, really have nothing to do with you. You are the receiver of a release for someone else. Adult bullies do walk the streets with us. They come in many forms. Some are strangers, others are relatives, co-workers, and even our bosses.
And though it stings to be on the receiving end, their cruel words and/or behavior does not lessen your value or capabilities. You are still worth while. Others words cannot take away your value, unless you say it can.
Moments like these can be scary, unpredictable, and even bring unfair consequences. Perhaps this is a lesson that will serve you well later in life. Possibly preparing you to overcome something quickly in the future in a way that doesn’t allow self-doubt.
I encourage you to keep being your best.
What you give out always comes back to you. Continue to love yourself and release the negativity other’s are offering you.
Some people are eager to invite you to their all-inclusive negativity buffet. You tell them that you are full. There is no room left for what they want to serve. And you can gently begin to invite them to your love feast.
Let yourself shine. There is an abundance of yuck in this world, however, the yuck is one small thread in the towel of a beautiful life. All the other threads are woven in love and light.
Continue to love. It nourishes everyone.
My soul hugs your soul,
Steph
