What’s up, Awesome Sauce? I’m hoping you had an awesome Saturday. Mine was pretty great. I’d say Saturdays are my least active day because I spend most of it making a YouTube video. I still feel productive though.
The new YouTube videos come out on Monday. So keep a lookout. This Monday is all about 16 Things You Didn’t Know About Hypnosis.
One of my favorite parts of the day is going for a family walk, especially in the evening when we get to have the universe tell us a love story through the sunset. And tonight’s sunset was beyond gorgeous.
So far, I’d say this no refined sugar thing is going pretty well. The most important part is to not get too hungry and to have food without sugar in the house.
This is what I ate today.
Breakfast was an awesome smoothie: blueberries, bananas, spinach, protein powder, barley grass powder, spirulina, and unsweetened almond milk. So good.
And I LOVE the Ninja blender… however, mine is leaking. Super sad face. I hope it holds out for a bit longer. Fingers extra crossed.
Lunch was of course stirfry. Keoni is obsessed with stirfry so we have it almost every day. Today was a mix of veggies, tofu, and rice with soy sauce.
Keoni loves stirfry because it is filling, healthy, and budget-friendly. And I’m just happy he helps make some food. Yay! Plus, he is a master at making really good rice. Win-win. Everyone is happy.
Today’s snacks were watermelon and some tortilla chips with guac. No pic of the guac because my phone decided it was full and didn’t want to take pics at the time. But I had already gotten in the watermelon.
Dinner was a veggie burger with a pile of tomatoes and avocado, sprinkled with nutritional yeast, sea salt, and garlic.
It was a good day. I do feel like I have more energy throughout the day even with little sleep. My little guy was having nightmares last night so I was up pretty much all night and I felt pretty good today. I’m sleepy now, but it’s also almost bedtime. π
One thing I do really love about eating food without refined sugar is that I am making healthier choices and that influences all my other choices throughout the day.
