Hi Cuties! Okay so I just started making this tea in the morning. I wasn’t expecting it to be as delicious as it is. So I wanted to share it with you all so you can start your day off with wellness in a mug.
I have never been a coffee drinker by choice. There was a time in my life, in 4th grade, I was actually prescribed to drink a cup of coffee a day by a doctor. So after school I would walk to Johnny’s Cafe and have a cup of coffee. Didn’t enjoy it then and I don’t enjoy it now. And I’ve tried many. Especially when I worked as a barista for a little while back in my fun college days. However, it does always smell nice.
I digress, anyway, I have never needed coffee to get my day going. Though, I do love a great cup of tea. And this tea recipe is a bit of a detox tea and tastes delicious. I love starting my day off with a yummy cup of tea and a smile. Don’t you?!
Since I am not a huge fan of the taste of apple cider vinegar, I add in a splash of maple syrup and it is so good.
What You’ll Need
- A favorite mug
- 1 bag of Organic Chamomile tea (I use the one with lavender added in)
- 1 Teaspoon of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
- A Splash of Organic Pure Maple Syrup
- Juice from half of an organic lemon
- 1 cup of hot water to brew your tea
Start by smiling. Then grab your favorite mug and add hot water to it per your favorite method. I use a keurig, but don’t worry, we use reusable cups if we ever make coffee or anything like that. 😉 Brew your tea. And let it cool down a bit before adding any of the other goodies to it. Cool enough that you can easily drink it. Yet still warm to wake up your intestines.
Then add in your lemon juice, a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and a splash of maple syrup. Stir and enjoy. Keep smiling. And have a phenomenal day.
